Rudan d.o.o. prepared the project-technical documentation for the reconstruction and energy renovation of the General Hospital Dubrovnik. The documentation was developed at the level of main and execution project in BIM technology. Out of 386 project proposals submitted to the Call for Proposals “Energy Renovation of Public Sector Buildings” by the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction, and State Property, funding decisions have been made for 30 buildings, and they are now in the contracting process.
Among the approved projects is the Energy Renovation of the General Hospital Dubrovnik, , which has been granted 7,364.913,12 eura. Thanks to the well-prepared project, the central healthcare institution in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County will achieve significant energy savings, utilize renewable energy sources, and improve access for persons with disabilities through horizontal measures. Additionally, the hospital’s surrounding areas will be greened.
The planned total energy savings after the completion of the energy renovation should amount to approximately 63%. The project will result in a reduction of CO2 emissions by up to 90%, which is equivalent to approximately requiring 116,975 trees to offset.
