The first energy passive commercial building in Croatia
Architectural and technological achievement
In 2014, the company moved into the first passive commercial building in Croatia, establishing the first “green” corporate headquarters in the country. Rudan utilized the knowledge of its own engineers and best practices to achieve an A+ energy rating for this building, whose innovative design is complemented by modern architecture. Our passive building also serves as a representative and demonstration center where the energy solutions applied can be offered to our clients and their projects.

Specific architecture
The building has a total area of 802 m2 and features a very specific architecture, self-ventilating facade, solar collectors for hot water preparation, a heat pump, and air recuperation system. It utilizes electricity from its own photovoltaic power plant, modern LED lighting, has a contemporary interior design, and a smart home management system.
Around twenty employees, mainly engineers and economists, work in the building, which also houses a warehouse and a center for field units in Istria.
